I recently picked up an ink jet printer! I've wanted to see my work printed for a long time but didn't want to go a print shop for larger prints. After doing a bunch of research I've seen just how much of an art printing is by itself. Images look very different depending on the paper you use amongst other factors. For example some of my images look really bright and saturated on the computer but print out much darker. So they need to be tweaked for the ink your printer uses/ the paper your printing with. I've never been the biggest fan of glossy paper or straight up matte. The paper used in all these photos is a Lustre paper, which is kind of a split between matte and glossy. I really dig how the images look on this paper. Seeing your work in different light is imporant too. Depending on the environment you put the photo in, it can change how it's viewed.
Having my images made physical is super rewarding!
